I will return your call, text or email, and we can have a brief chat about what you would like help with. If it is too difficult, or personal, for you to discuss on the phone then we can go ahead and book you in for an initial consultation session anyway.
“How do I know if counselling or CBT is the right thing for me?”
If a brief phone call, text or email does not help you decide then to help you with this decision we can arrange an initial consultation session, where we can identify and discuss your difficulties, and decide whether the therapy I offer is the right choice for you. There will be a standard charge of £60 for this session which is payable in cash on the day. The assessment usually takes up to an hour.
Attending an initial consultation session will not oblige you to continue therapy with me. Most people tell me that they find the initial consultation very useful in itself.
